Cooper never uses Cockeny rhyming slang, does he? That would be funny if he just randomly slipped into it one day and everyone was like, "What?" Haha :)

I absolutely love William Cooper. You start out thinking he is just another agent. And he annoys you alot at first because he criticizes Max so much at the beginning of the Second Seige. Then we see he has a sense of humor, his past with Deirdre Fallow, and his present with Ms. Boon. One of my favorite parts of the whole series is when Cooper rescues Max from Prusias's dungeons. It really showed Cooper in a light that we don't see too often. And when he told the fomorian not to fix his face, I think that just added to his character. Plus, he's now the leader of the Red Branch, which just makes him even more neat. So, Henry, will Cooper be included in The Maelstrom? And your illustrations are brilliant. You're very talented. :-)

When I read the Fiend and the Forge, at the part where Cooper could fix his face, I felt so bad! I can't believe that he chose not to fix his face. But, in a way it gave a nice message of "Don't judge a book by its cover." Cooper is really patient and it is hard to believe he was ever like Max.

I actually was glad he made that decision. I wonder what Miss Boon would have thought...? ;)Cooper had some great lines in Fiend that cracked me up!

I love Cooper and all, but I'll be honest, I was absolutely enraged when he made a certain decision in The Fiend and the Forge(MARVELOUS JOB BY THE WAY!). I kind of started imagining how Cooper looked when I saw that one great picture you drew of the group on the train to the Frankfurt Workshop in The Second Siege. The side of his face was very clear and unblemished, so I pretty much based the rest of his profile with that description, with the exception of some scars and a little tad of distortion on the other side. I don't know what to think about this image really, but if that's how you want it, I won't stop you. You're a great writer and artist and I'll appreciate anything you throw at us...And now I sound contradictory because I just previously stated that I didn't like his decision in F&F. Ah well, I'm just a hypocrite.

I love Cooper (he's my favorite character), and you're an amazing artist, but that's not how I pictured him at all. I was thinking of him as handsome but scarred, but this just looks old, and worn away to the core.
